surefootage
As noted in my previous post, I've finally gotten around to doing something with surefootage.com, a domain I bought a year ago but never developed.
Now seemed like the right time since we have one project ("The Truth") under our belts, another ("The Long Shot") that is finished but won't be online until we know if it was accepted into a festival, and a third ("Sacrifice") that we're in the middle of shooting.
Speaking of which, we're shooting a big scene for "Sacrifice" on Saturday at a large cathedral in downtown Kansas City, which I'm excited about. More info as it progresses.

In other news, Snarbles.com moved to new hosting, so it is temporarily broken until I can find time to work on it. I'd like to redesign it, but I'll wait for a little while so that everyone who was leeching images from Snarbles.com has to find someone else to steal bandwidth from.
I've found myself getting into ambient and chill out music lately. On Friday, I bought everything that Lemon Jelly(iTMS) has on iTunes, and I'm very pleased with it.
Yes, I know I missed my chance to post about the iPod shuffle and the Mac mini, but there has been enough web coverage of both of them anyway. I think the Mac mini is a great idea, and I'm still trying to justify buying one, but I don't have another display to use with it. The next Mac I buy will be a G5, whether it is a tower or a Powerbook is up to Steve Jobs. I haven't had a chance to play with an iPod shuffle yet, so I'll save any thoughts on it until then. I didn't like it at first, but now I kind of do, but I think its capacity is too small for my needs.
On that note, I've been using my iPod mini as my daily iPod, while my 40gb iPod sits at home in its dock. The mini is really the perfect size, physically. When they're able to put a 20gb card into the mini's form factor, it will be the best mp3 player on the market, in my opinion. And I'll buy another one. I'm going to sell my 5gb 1st-generation iPod as soon as I can get all its accessories together. It's just been sitting in its retail box for the past few months ever since I stopped using it as a portable hard drive at my previous job.
Speaking of Apple, I bought iWork, and though I haven't had a chance to play with it, either, I am impressed with it. The first thing I plan to do with it is create a new resume, though I don't have a use for one at the moment. My job is going rather well, in case you're wondering. My 6-month review (and first raise) is on February 10th.

Also, in case you also heard it at Old Navy and wondered what that damn song was, here it is.
